Nothing Awesome, not bad for first try.

Basically, all that I can say is that you need to have more than 2-3 things happening at the same time, it will improve the overall experience a lot more.

Add in a loading bar, and please try to refrain from using sprites.
( Sprites are a way of the past... ) I also noticed that your sprites still have white around their edges, please remove that at the very least before EVER sending in a submission.
